Puik!
Dit is ’n baie ou gebou en ou meubels, maar puik binne en buite. Alles was so skoon, baie breekgoed wat blink skoon was en daar is niks te kort nie. Ons kon 'n week daar gebly het, daar is stilte in die klein dorp met die wonderlikste mense. Dit was vir seker die hoogtepunt van ons vakansie in die Kaap.

A fantastic and surprising stay in Sutherland

· Deze historische cottage ligt in de hoofdstraat van Sutherland. Je kunt vanaf je eigen 'stoep' de dagelijkse reuring gadeslaan. Er is bovendien een grote achtertuin met zitjes en de mogelijkheid je auto van de straat te parkeren.
De cottage heeft een fantastische keuken, een heerlijke zitkamer met open haard, twee slaapkamers met elektrische dekens voor als het koud wordt en in 1 kamer nog een openhaard, een prima douche en apart toilet. De inrichting is geweldig en verrassend. Een toplocatie! Wij hadden hem voor 1 nacht gehuurd en hebben ter plaatse besloten nog een nacht te blijven. Zeer vriendelijke host...

From the moment we arrive till the moment we left everything was just excellent, excellent, excellent!

· Location was excellent! Directly opposite the OK Friendly Grocer and Bottle Store. Sutherland is a small town so everything is "near by". The inside braai in the lounge was excellent!! And then there is also a stunning fireplace in the main bedroom! And the wood, fire lighters and matches was provided by the landlord!

We had such a beautiful stay at Perlman House. The house itself is stunning with such interesting rooms & gives one an experience. The master bedroom really was a treat. It gives the feeling of tranquillity & peacefulness. Thank you to the owners for making everything smooth while checking in & out. Definitely will make a trip back for another stay.

Such a stunning, homely spot in the town. Incredible amenities at the guest house, I must commend the owners on that! Ronelle was wonderful, stayed in touch our whole journey and met us there - with great advice on a dinner spot too. Wonderful bath and fireplace, super cozy! Fit for couples, families or groups of friends staying.

Fantastiese verblyf in 'n baie ou gebou met soveel karakter en geskiedenis. Was 'n absolute belewenis. Lien was fantasties met die bespreking en Ronelle het uit haar pad gegaan om als vir ons reg te hê, aanbevelings oor wat om waar te doen, gereeld gewhatsapp om te hoor het ons iets nodig, ens. Tot vir ons 'n doggy sitter gereël vir een aand. Die verblyf het alles wat mens nodig het en ons het heerlik, rustig gebly. Sal hulle definitief aanbeveel. Ronelle is 'n absolute juweel.

The accommodation was lovely and comfortable, with all the amenities at our disposal. It is close to SALT and the local grocery store, which makes it very convenient. Our host was brilliant, even checking with us if we have reached our next destination safely! The indoor braai grid could be cleaned slightly better but that was a minor flaw in our great stay!

We stayed overnight in Sutherland for 3 nights at Perlman House and Perlman House far exceeded our expectations. Cozy and full of character, Perlman House was well equipped. The inside fireplace was well used to take the chill out of the air at night and the hot blankets on the beds were a warm welcome on cold nights. We were a family of 7 including 3 children aged between 9 and 13 and we couldn't asked for any more - full of charm and friendly service - Thank You Perlman House
